CARPET CLEANING

Most homes in the United States have carpet or rugs in the home. And many Americans complain of allergies related to carpet. Research actually shows that carpet is better at trapping  allergens and keeping them from becoming airborne.  Proper cleaning is the key. At Emerald Coast, we most commonly use a hot water extraction cleaning method.  Professional hot water extraction cleaning lifts and suspends fine particles of soil. Then careful extraction flushes them from carpet fibers. If preferred, We do have a low moisture cleaning method available.

At Emerald Coast Carpet Cleaning, LLC our technicians are IICRC certified in carpet and rug cleaning. We are happy to provide a no-cost, no-obligation estimate for your home, condo, or business.

Carpet Cleaning FAQ

How often should I vacuum carpet and rugs?
Frequent vacuuming will help stop soil from sifting downward and becoming embedded in the carpet pile. Vacuuming should be done more slowly in entry areas where most particle soils accumulate. Vacuum slowly over traffic areas two or three times.

How often should I have my carpet and rugs professionally cleaned?
For most residences, professionally cleaning carpet with hot water extraction annually is sufficient. If you own a short term rental with high traffic, it may need more frequent cleaning. For rentals with short turn around times, we do have a low moisture cleaning method available.

Will my furniture be moved to clean the carpet?
High traffic areas will be cleaned and small furniture items will be moved. Typically, our technicians do not move heavy furniture like sofas, beds, dressers. However, if you'd like those areas cleaned, please let us know and it can be arranged. It may incur an additional charge.

How long will my carpet be wet after cleaning?
At Emerald Coast, we know that the carpet in your home being wet is in inconvenience. Hot water extraction is the most effective method for cleaning carpet. While water is used during the cleaning process, your carpet will only be damp when our technicians leave.  The carpet should be totally dry within 5-7 hours. If you need the carpet completely dry in a shorter time period, we can provide air movers to accelerate the drying process.
